If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please give our office 24-hour advanced notice so we may accommodate other patients for appointments. There is a $50 fee for cancellations with less than 24-hour notice and for no-show appointments.
If you choose not to fill out our registration forms beforehand, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow for paperwork to be completed, insurance to be updated, and payments to be collected. You can save time by filling out our patient registration form prior to your visit!
Please bring your medical insurance cards, photo ID, and your current eyeglasses with you to your appointment.
Please allow 1 ½ – 2 hours for a complete eye examination. This will allow enough time for your eyes to dilate, all necessary testing to be completed, and ample time to be spent with your physician.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will try our best to see you in a timely manner, but you may have a longer appointment or you may be asked to reschedule.
It may be necessary to dilate your pupils. This will result in light sensitivity and blurring of your close-up vision. Dilation typically lasts 4-6 hours in adults and up to 10 hours in children. A pair of disposable sunglasses will be given to you upon request if you do not bring your own.
If you would like us to check your glasses prescription to ensure it is correct, there is an additional $50.00 fee that is not covered by your Medical Insurance.In many cases a glasses presciption measurement is an essential part of your eye examination. Payment is due at the time of service.
