Dr. Marlene Morales was born and raised in Houston, Texas where she attended Clear Brook High School. After graduating with honors from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a minor in Business, Dr. Morales went on to attend medical school. She completed her medical school training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where she graduated with honors and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, a national medical honor society, recognizing her for her commitment and dedication, to the art of healing, professionalism, leadership, scholarship, research, and community service. She completed her ophthalmology residency as well as a combined Oculoplastic surgery and Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Morales is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery, which deals with surgery of the eyelids and tear drainage system. She speaks fluent Spanish and embraces every opportunity to provide her very best care to her patients.
Dr. Morales is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has many published articles in medical journals and has presented research at national ophthalmology meetings.
Dr. Morales is married with two wonderful children. In her free time, she enjoys being a mom to her two children, spending time with her family, exercising, watercolor painting, and baking.
Dr. Morales joined the practice in 2023, after practicing for 12 years in Tomball, TX. She looks forward to seeing you and your family.
